DaLat University

The University of Dalat, a coeducational public institution of higher education, operates under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training ( MOET) in Hanoi. The Rector and the Vice-Rectors are elected by all the university staff and faculty and accepted by the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam. All the administrators, faculty, staff, and students, through a system of governance, are committed to the best development of the University.

The University offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees. It is dedicated to the preparation of students in a variety of fields in basic natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, business, law, education and some other fields based on the needs and the development of Vietnam. The aim of the University is to equip students with both academic knowledge and professional skills so that they can become independent and creative in their work in order to meet the requirements for industrializing and modernizing the country. After graduation the students, with their self-confidence, are to be good members of their family and good citizens of the country who have a good knowledge of sciences and appropriate professional skills.
